3 Minutes and 38 Seconds of Calm

Filmmaker John Duncan’s new film, Wild Scotland, took him on many an adventure, including a hike up Bidein a’Ghlas Thuill at 3:00 a.m. in the pitch dark to film the spectacular serrated ridge of An Teallach. There the sound of the stags roaring in the valleys below is a memory that he says he will never forget. Make sure to appreciate the footage of the seabirds of Bass Rock near North Berwick, which is home to the world’s largest single gannet colony, with some 40,000 pairs of birds. Relax, breathe and enjoy.
