Beautiful Broiled Citrus
What better way to enjoy seasonal citrus fruits than to top with a sprinkle of coconut sugar and broil them to bring out their natural flavors? This recipe is perfect as a simple dessert or juicy afternoon snack. It is also extremely versatile, as any citrus fruit can be substituted, and you can use honey or maple syrup in place of the sugar if desired.

3 medium oranges, sliced in half
2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- Preheat broiler.
- Line baking sheet with foil and lay oranges flat, cut side up. Sprinkle coconut sugar over the oranges.
- Broil oranges until the sugar is melted and oranges are slightly charred, about 5 minutes. Let cool before enjoying.
