By Sonnet Lauberth, Holistic Health Coach, author of In Sonnet’s Kitchen
For decades, store-bought cleaning products made with bleach were the standard for disinfecting surfaces and cleaning. However, with chemical sensitivities on the rise, many people are looking for natural and safer alternatives to traditional cleaning methods in their homes. This is where the power of essential oils comes in!
This DIY Antibacterial Spray is made from just a few ingredients: water, vinegar, tea tree essential oil and lavender essential oil. Tea tree oil is often used in natural cleaning products because it is antibacterial, antifungal, antimicrobial and antiviral. Lavender essential oil also contains antibacterial and antiviral properties, while vinegar is excellent for removing stains and soap buildup.
This spray is great for cleaning bathrooms, especially toilets, showers and sinks. It also works well for cleaning countertops and kitchens!
