DIY So-Easy Aromatherapy Cuticle Oil


Did you know that you can make your own cuticle oil with one simple ingredient that you already have in your kitchen? Olive oil is incredibly moisturizing for the skin and is a wonderful way to get rid of those pesky dry cuticles! Combine it with a few drops of lavender essential oil and use it as a daily moisturizer or for an at-home manicure!

Prep time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 0 minutes

Ingredients

2 tablespoons olive oil
5 drops lavender essential oil

Directions

  1. Combine olive oil and lavender essential oil together in a small bowl.
  2. Store in a glass bottle with a dropper so it can be easily applied to cuticles.
  3. Keep out of direct sunlight.

    Question for you….what other scent can I use that is also considered calming? I hate the scent of lavender. Thanks.

      Hi Janet,
      Roman Chamomile, Clary Sage, Mandarin, Marjoram, Neroli, Ylang Ylang, Vetiver, Rose, and Frankincense are all calming scents. You can also try blending a few to create a scent that you love.
