Energizing Matcha Green Smoothie


This lightly sweet, energizing smoothie is the perfect breakfast for a busy morning or a pick-me-up before or after a tough workout. To make this smoothie even more filling, add your favorite protein powder, a spoonful of cashew butter or a tablespoon of hemp seeds!

Ingredients

1 medium banana, frozen
¼ avocado
½ cup spinach
½ teaspoon matcha (available at natural products stores and Amazon)
1 cup ice
⅓ cup water

Directions

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Enjoy immediately.
