Magnesium-Rich Frozen Strawberry Lemonade


This Frozen Strawberry Lemonade is a refreshing way to cool down on a hot afternoon or after a tough workout. Strawberries are nutrient rich and packed with antioxidants like vitamin C. Adding Natural Calm to your favorite drink or smoothie gives you a great magnesium boost, which may reduce muscle cramps, beat fatigue and decrease symptoms of stress within the body.

Serves 2

Ingredients
2 cups ice
2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 tablespoon Raspberry-Lemon Flavor Natural Calm
2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 tablespoons maple syrup
½ cup water

Directions

  1. Add ice to the blender and blend for 10 seconds, or until ice is crushed and there are no large chunks.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and blend until the lemonade is the texture of a slushie. If blades get stuck, use the blender tamper or add additional water if needed.
  3. Enjoy immediately.

    I would freeze some strawberries and reduce amount of ice cubes to enrich the flavor. I will also try Orage Calm instead of raspberry.
