Rich Creamy Vegan Chocolate Pudding

If you’ve never used avocado in a dessert recipe, now’s the time. This vegan pudding is so rich and creamy you won’t miss the cream. Plus, it’s super healthy!

Rich & Creamy Vegan Chocolate Pudding


1 ripe Hass avocado
4 tablespoons raw cacao powder
2–3 tablespoons agave (to taste)
½ teaspoon vanilla
¼ cup thick canned coconut milk
Dash of salt
1 tablespoon chopped walnuts


  1. Purée the avocado in a food processor or blender.
  2. Slowly add the raw cacao powder, agave, vanilla, salt and coconut milk to the avocado, stirring constantly or blending on low until all ingredients are thoroughly blended together with a smooth consistency.
  3. Refrigerate the pudding. Serve cold, garnished with nuts.
